[jira] [Updated] (LEGAL-213) Is Saxon ok to use

Alex Harui updated LEGAL-213:
-----------------------------
    Attachment: UNICODE.txt
                THAI.txt
                LICENSE.txt
                LEGAL.txt
                JAMESCLARK.txt
                GPL+CLASSPATH.txt
                FRIJTERS.txt
                CERN.txt
                APACHE-XERCES.txt
                APACHE-RESOLVER.txt
                APACHE-ANT.txt

These are the notices that come in the distribution. CERN seems to require approval from legal-discuss. AFAICT, the GPL+CLASSPATH code is not in the jar we are using so that NOTICE doesn't apply.

> Saxon looked like it was MPL, but deeper investigation shows a set of NOTICE files that make it seem like there are non-Apache-compatible dependencies.
> Also, it is hard to tell which notices actually apply to the one jar Flex actually uses (saxon9.jar)
> We are using an older version than what is described here:
> But I think some of the information still applies.
