get specific entry

Hello,

I saw that there is a method to get all entries for blog:
model.getWeblogEntriesPager("Top") -
which actually returns me only the entry: Top.

Is it the best way to get only one entry by indicating its name?

Thanks

You can get an entry's anchor with $entry.anchor.

Oh yeah... I completely forget about that.

We never released 3.2, so the only way to get that method is to use 4.0.
Or you could create your own plugin page model to add that method to 3.1.

Sorry about the confusion.

Hello,
I could see in documentation that the method was improved only in Roller
3.2.
Im using roller 3.1.

I didn't find, where can I download 3.2?

RE: get specific entry

Well,
So I tried your advice.
I created an entry with the name about blogger and saw also that also in DB
it appears with about_blogger as the anchor. I then used:
#set($entry = $model.weblog.getWeblogEntry("about_blogger"))
$entry.transformedSummary

But what appears is only : $entry.transformedSummary (it doesn't parse it).
Why?
Thanks

You can fetch by the blog entry's "anchor" like this:

   $model.weblog.getWeblogEntry(anchor)

An entry's anchor ($entry.anchor) is the string that identifies the
entry in the entry's permalinks URL.

Let me explain more.
I have a specific entry that I would like to show in Front page.

It's not that I m in the entry.
I would like to receive the entry. How can I know what it the anchor without
retrieving it first?
