Scheduled release for Apache HttpClient 4.5.4 (HTTPCLIENT-1836)

Hi everyone,

I've been bitten by the bug described in [1] which has been fixed in the 4.5.x branch [2] and is supposed to be part of Apache HttpClient 4.5.4.

Is there already a date for the release of Apache HttpClient 4.5.4? Otherwise I'd probably have to downgrade to version 4.5.2 to work around that regression.

No, there is not. Personally, I see HttpClient 5.0-a3 release as of a
much higher priority right now. I'll deal with 4.5.4 after 5.0-a3
