gremlin server ssl support

While working on something unrelated, I realized that somewhere along the
line SSL support in Gremlin Server must have gotten broken. I've done some
work there as a result of noticing that and have simplified the
configuration a bit and wrote a test to catch regressions. This work was
just pushed to master.

If any of the folks working on drivers have a moment to test out the SSL
support in some way - assuming your driver supports SSL, which would be
nice ;) - I'd appreciate hearing if everything is working as expected.

Thanks,

Stephen

I never set any tests for this. I'll be sure to do it.
