Replacing tomcat-users.xml

Hello, 

I would like to replace the tomcat-users.xml file with something like
auth_ldap on apache's httpd.

I want to integrate the tomcat access to the manager, etc.. To Active
directory.

If any one has any hints, it would be appreciated.
