It's def. not 1.4.2.  If anything it would be 1.5.  The point is here people shouldn't go wondering where all the other releases are.

is the next *minor* release after Solr 1.4.1.

(or, you could say "Solr 3.1 contains Lucene 3.1, and is the release
that would otherwise have been Solr 1.4.2").
