need help with svndumpfilter!

Hi,

I'm trying to do a dump with snvdumpfilter but I get this error: Invalid copy source path '/Finrad/DevLogic/DevLogicExport'

This is the command that I tried to execute: svndumpfilter include Finrad/DevLogicExport < FinRadRepoDump.dmp > DevLogicExport-dumpfile

The dump has been made from a repository that looks like this:

http://srv-apach1/svn/DEV_REPO/Finrad/DevLogicExport

Is anyone has an idea about that error because I try to find something but I didn't found anything helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Sebastien Filion

It's been a while since i worked with svndumpfilter, but if i recall
correctly, then this error occurs because your included repository part
contains files that were copied from a location that you did *not* include.
Since svn needs the copy source in order to be able to supply all previous
versions of all files, svndumpfilter complains about the missing source
file(s). (So maybe the error message should rather read "Copy source [bar]
required in order to include [foo]. Either exclude [foo] or also include
[bar]"?)
