I just followed the instructions to unsubscribe from the "new" mailing
list, but I'm still on it.
What is the correct way to do this?

Hi Howard,

Sometimes unsubscribe confirmation emails get stuck in the spam  
filters. I just unsubscribed you manually. Let me know if this didn't  
work.
