I have to agree with Jani -- I'm not sure what "skip" would mean, if it doesn't 
mean to skip the whole thing altogether if no files were found, nor is there 
really any point in having "skip" as a valid value if it doesn't mean that, 
since the behaviour is identical to not specifying 'whenempty' at all.
