[jira] [Commented] (MIME4J-255) MimeStreamParser: Add method to allow setting of "no recurse" mode to underlying mime token stream

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MIME4J-255?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17326076#comment-17326076 ]

Rebecca Searls commented on MIME4J-255:
---------------------------------------

This was an issue for RESTEasy when it was reported in 2016 and it remains a

problem today.  This is a simple low risk change.  Would someone please integrate

this change or explain why it can not be accepted.

> MimeStreamParser: Add method to allow setting of "no recurse" mode to underlying mime token stream
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: MIME4J-255
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MIME4J-255
> Project: James Mime4j
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Reporter: Felix Knecht
> Priority: Minor
>
> MimeStreamParser does not allow to set the option NO_RECURSE
> All other options can be set, except that one. And of course this is the one I'm interested in.
> I made a github pull request a while ago, but it was closed:
> Resteasy is having problems parsing requests when the request contains EML files.
> See: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RESTEASY-1255
> I hope this can still make it into 0.8! Are there service releases for earlier versions? Especially 0.6 since that is what resteasy is using.
