Great, while the code is not in SVN the latest version that will be the
starting point for River can be found here
https://starterkit.dev.java.net/ Only the header files will slightly
change so when you start working with that code your diffs will only be
a bit different.
I think RIVER-5 won't result in much discussion, while RIVER-6 might, so
depending on where you like to spend your time ;-) you can start. You
can also check the Bug database at Sun
http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/index.jsp for open issues against the
Jini project.
I have no idea when we can expect the source or issues to be available,
maybe the Sun people can comment on that one.

Yeah... Thanks... I checked the SVN and TODO / Roadmap
and did not see much there so posted mail here. I would be glad
to offer any help. I would sure keep checking Jira
Thanks,
Kalpak

Hi Galpak, very good question. Assuming you refer to working on the
code, there is the problem that we don't have:
a) all the currently outstanding issues, we are awaiting the
issues to be seeded in JIRA. There are some issues filed
recently but as far as I can tell only these are really open
(the others have been fixed by me):
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RIVER-5
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RIVER-6
b) a roadmap related to what we think the priorities will/should
be for the short, mid and long term;
Not much of a real answer I guess, but maybe you have ideas yourself
which you can always discuss here. At least thanks for showing your
interest and stay tuned.
