re: james on windows

I am fairly new to jakarta-james but I want to learn about it as much as i
can.  Basically, I want to setup james and send messages back and forth
using pop and smtp.


But since past two days, I'm having trouble trying to setup james on linux
and windows.

1. On windows platform I did the following:

1a. Downloaded binary version
1b. edit james.conf.xml file to add only two entries in the following tags
	<password>"root"
	<server>10.11.10.24


the above ip is the ip of my computer.

But now when I run the "run.bat" file I get the message:

468 Channel default open

I dont know what this means at all.

Please help.
