Nick,

 

Given the symptoms ( system saying a file does not exist, yet you are
convinced it does ), then I would simply contact IBM Technical Support to
see if this is a known problem with OS/400. They will be your best means of
resolution I would say.

 

The other standard comment would be to ask if you are up to date with PTFs .
if you are, then accept my apologies in advance .

 

I would also check QSYSOPR and also QHST to see if there are any messages
there which might indicate a problem .
