Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: XERCERJ-137
Summary: Problems with newline normalization still persist
Type: Bug
Status: Resolved
Resolution: FIXED
Project: Xerces2-J
Components:
SAX
Versions:
2.0.0 [beta 4]
Assignee: Neil Graham
Reporter: Joe Kesselman
Created: Fri, 25 Jan 2002 11:49 PM
Updated: Mon, 12 Apr 2004 2:16 PM
Environment: Operating System: Windows NT/2K
Platform: Other
Description:
Using current CVS copy of Xerces and its DocumentTracer sample program, the
attached input file produces the attached output. Note the \r characters.
Problem vanishes if we take Xerces2 off the classpath and plug in Xerces1.
(Spent all day trying to figure out what we were doing differently, came to the
conclusion we _weren't_, tried it, and blammo. Should have just tried it first.)
