Can Apache Cxf SOAP based web service can be consumed using other
frameworks like Axis2?
Hi All,
Just a simple question. I was wondering if Apache Cxf SOAP based web
service can be consumed using other frameworks like Axis2?
If yes then can anyone give me pointer to a sample example.
Regards, Puneet

Hi Ron,
Have you faced the scenario where in you have to consume Apache CXF SOAP
service through Axis Client?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks, Puneet.

Well, we had a axis client which we generated through WSDL generated from
Axis2 Web Services. Now since we have moved from Axis2 to Apache CXF, we
want to use same client to regenerate stub classes but now WSDL which we
are supplying is generated through Apache CXF. Problem which I am
encountering is this that with WSDL generated from Apache CXF I am not able
to regenerate Stub classes.
Am I missing a trick here?
Thanks, Puneet.

We have done it the other way and supported an application that used
both Axis and CXF.
The SOAP protocol does not depend on clients and servers having the same
technology or even being programmed in the same programming language.
What problems are you having?
