[jira] [Created] (MADLIB-1354) SVM class_weight param does not work with special characters

Nandish Jayaram created MADLIB-1354:
---------------------------------------

Summary: SVM class_weight param does not work with special characters
                 Key: MADLIB-1354
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MADLIB-1354
             Project: Apache MADlib
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Module: Support Vector Machines
            Reporter: Nandish Jayaram
             Fix For: v2.0

This is a follow-up JIRA of https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MADLIB-1346.

class_weight can be specified as a mapping, for e.g., {{\{a:1, b:4\}}}, where {{a}} and {{b}} must be values for the dependent var in the input table. If a class value has special characters in it, that class value is not considered as while applying the class weights specified.
