JSR168 user-attributes

Hi all,

Firstly sorry for a slightly off-topic post. There aren't many 
JSR168-wise lists out there.

Can anyone tell me how to set the values for user-attributes exposed by 
the <user-attribute> portion of the Portlet.xml?

The JSR168 spec (PDF page 71) indicates that the Portlet Container holds 
this information. The Portlet that I am trying to install has some 
custom attributes that I need to set in the container somehow.

Any ideas?
