Create a Solr Discord server

Hey everybody.
I have an idea of creating a discord server so we'll be able to use its many advantages as a discussions and forums platform that will also attract new contributors, and also be comfortable to us (most modern projects have a discord/ slack server and it proves itself well).
Tell me what you think!
If there'll be the support I'll maintain the server.
You can even join right now so we'' see how many will join in the next few days to understand if that's a good move.

Invitation link: https://discord.gg/rf6eqccU

Thanks a lot !!

Hi Jamie,

Please see the 'Slack' section here: https://solr.apache.org/community.html

Specifically, the point about "unofficial slack organizations for Solr
support" under it.

Hmm, it would possibly be good to use the name of the slack as the anchor
text and have the s.apache.org URL as the href thre, I just caught up on
user-emails and by coincidence, I had just recently missed the fact that
https://s.apache.org/solr-slack was how you get to apachesolr.slack.com as
well. I saw the link when I looked at the community page, but since it
appeared to be something different, was couched in a bunch of IRC related
text and solr-slack didn't match apachesolr, I never clicked it.

How do you get on that? I don't have an @searchscale.com email address and I don't know how to " Contact the workspace administrator at ApacheSolr for an invitation."
