Derby in Tomcat

hi,
I have developed a MBean to start / stop a Derbuy Network server. This
allows me to start Derby in Network Mode when I start my webapp in Tomcat
and stop Derby when I stop the webapp. This way I have the equivalent of an
embedded Derby server with the possibility of integration-tests using
HttpUnit and DBUnit.
I can contribute this code if you are interested.

Hi,
This MBean is currently a small Maven2 project completely out of Derby. I
will create a JIRA issue and attach the code to it when I have some
documentation ready :o)
Thanks for your quick answer.

Hi,

I am planning to work in this area for the next release of Derby, so
any contribution is of course welcome. On how to contribute, you
should find the information you need at
