The [Deadline|https://github.com/apache/hive/blob/master/standalone-metastore/metastore-server/src/main/java/org/apache/hadoop/hive/metastore/Deadline.java] has a throw-catch which is unnecessary. Previusly HIVE-16450 has refactored most of the exceptions, but missed it at the check() method.
