i want to trace a method using log4j and its excution time as well but i have
not got any idea related to do right now i am using System time for same.

Bug reports are not the proper place for questions. If Log4j is failing to do
something that it documented to be able to do, then this would be valid.
However, this is a case of you not knowing how to do something and querying for
suggestions. Please join the log4j-user list and ask your question there.
