[jira] Resolved: (BEEHIVE-191) packaging: missing api.packaging.MethodInfo

Kyle Marvin resolved BEEHIVE-191:

Assign To: James Song (was: Kyle Marvin)
    Resolution: Won't Fix

There is no @MethodInfo annotation, because if you look at the java.beans.MethodDescriptor javadoc, there really is no method-level bean info. The only APIs exposed by MethodDescriptor are getMethod() and getParameterDescriptors(), so there is really nothing to put into an annotation.

> According to http://wiki.apache.org/beehive/Controls/ControlPackaging, there should be a MethodInfo interface for MethodDescriptor.
> There is no such interface in org.apache.beehive.controls.api.packaging right now.
