[jira] [Updated] (METRON-1669) Create a Knox Service as SSL gateway
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/METRON-1669?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Simon Elliston Ball updated METRON-1669:
----------------------------------------
Description: Knox also provides an SSL gateway which allows us to proxy both the UIs and the REST services through an SSL reverse proxy sharing a domain. This allows us to avoid additional proxying from the UIs to REST which we currently do to avoid CORS restrictions. Creating a package of Knox service definitions would allow all UIs to be proxies for SSL and SSO on a single endpoint (Knox) (was: Once we have integrated SSO, there is no need for the front-end apps to present a login screen, we should remove these from the load footprint.)
Summary: Create a Knox Service as SSL gateway (was: Remove login services and screens from UIs)
