[jira] [Created] (BROOKLYN-553) Make br CLI default the port for Brooklyn

Geoff Macartney created BROOKLYN-553:
----------------------------------------

Summary: Make br CLI default the port for Brooklyn
                 Key: BROOKLYN-553
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BROOKLYN-553
             Project: Brooklyn
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Geoff Macartney
            Priority: Minor

If you don’t specify the port when trying a `br login`, the CLI fails to connect? If my Brooklyn is host locally on port 80, `br login http://localhost` fails whereas `br login http://localhost:80` works.

Ideally `br` should default to 80 or 443 depending on the scheme.
