it seems that with both 0.51 and the test/pre 0.51 releases, SA will silently
fail to give DNS-based results (DNSBLs and URIBLs).

I also seem to remember that it wasn't a problem with 3.1.0 because we used
Net::DNS in a different way than in 3.0.
I suppose it couldn't hurt to note that .51 wasn't really production ready and
it's use is discouraged. Trivial patch, IMO.

I'm not seeing this everywhere. Is it possible that the failure is on systems
that have IO::Socket::INET6 installed? I can't install that on my Fedora Core 3
system -- It fails in the make test when it tries to create an INET6 UDP socket.
I am getting a strange failure on my Cygwin system caused by the nameservers
list being only 127.0.0.1, but I have not yet tracked this down and I don't know
if it has anything to do with IO::Socket::INET6.
If the problem is only when IO::Socket::INET6 is installed, there may be a
workaround of setting the new force ipV4 parameter in N::DNS::Resolver, but not
being able to reproduce the problem here yet I can't say for sure.

Persistent_udp option broken starting in version 0.50.
This was fixed, based on a patch by Sidney Markowitz.
Guido van Rooij independently submitted a similar patch.
