   Did you try to control it thru _legend.selected_ ?  It works:
   ```js
           legend: {
               right: 20,
               data: ['SGE', 'XAU', 'London'],
               selected: { 'SGE': true, 'XAU': true, 'London': false }   // false hides it
           },
   ```
