[jira] [Commented] (HDFS-12010) TestCopyPreserveFlag fails
consistently because of mismatch in access time
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-12010?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16058816#comment-16058816 ]
Mukul Kumar Singh commented on HDFS-12010:
------------------------------------------
The cause of this bug are following lines
{code}
fs.setTimes(FROM, MODIFICATION_TIME, ACCESS_TIME);
fs.setPermission(FROM, PERMISSIONS);
fs.setTimes(DIR_FROM, MODIFICATION_TIME, ACCESS_TIME);
fs.setPermission(DIR_FROM, PERMISSIONS);
{code}
Setting permissions after setting the access and modification time will reset these times, Hence these events needs to be re-ordered.
