[jira] [Commented] (AXIOM-513) Maven dependency 'jrel' is a snapshot without a released version

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIOM-513?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17525818#comment-17525818 ]

Robert Lazarski commented on AXIOM-513:
---------------------------------------

[~veithen] , I am trying to put out a series of releases starting with Axiom due to AXIOM-512, then Axis2, then Rampart. Axis2 and Rampart users are asking for releases frequently.

However as indicated in the description, there is a snapshot dependency on what appears to be one of your github projects and I am hoping you could put a release out on it that shows up in the maven repos.

> Looks like we need a release of jrel due to the message received from "mvn release:prepare -DdryRun=true" , please see below:
> Dependency 'com.github.veithen:jrel' is a snapshot (0.1.0-SNAPSHOT)
> I posted the following messages to dev@ws.apache.org a few weeks ago:

> To summarize, Axis2 needs an Axiom release because of AXIOM-512. Axis2 needs a release for bug fixes and to officially upgrade our logging dependencies that are currently shipping with known vulnerabilities.
