pipeline using ?

Hi,

I want a URL like this:

    http://mysite.org/cocoon/myapp/today

to be "redirected" or transformed to a URL:

    http://mysite.org/cocoon/myapp/2003/05/29

I know about

    <util:time format="yyyy/MM/dd"/>

but not how I can integrate it in a pipeline.

How can this be done?  Thank you,
