XForms Implementation

Are there any plans to implement XForms as covered in the spec from W3C?

I am especially currious because I am interested in getting the filled out
form as XML and not as a java bean per-se. I have investivgated XMLForms and
it is rather tightly bound to Java which doesnt suit me being that I need as
much in XML as possible. Id this already implemented and I have missed it?
If not, s it planned.
