XMLPersistenceManager for filesystem
A couple of questions on XMLPersistenceManager*
*1. Is there a compelling reason not to use it? :-) I like the
standardization of it and that it would be easier to debug and test.
2. Can it be used with the datastore in the trunk? or the blobstore in 1.3?
Is this the right thing to do?
3. I understand speed is the issue with it but I am planning on having the
app cache fairly aggressively. thought?
4. Finally any problems with clustering?
Thanks,

Hi,
I have changed the wiki page at
http://wiki.apache.org/jackrabbit/PersistenceManagerFAQ

No. The DataStore can be used with all persistence managers.

I am still confused on the difference between BundleFsPersistenceManager and
ObjectPersistenceManager. If I use the ObjectPM can I use a datastore? Is
that the difference?

Hi,
This page is more up-to-date:
http://wiki.apache.org/jackrabbit/PersistenceManagerFAQ
I hope that at some point the whole documentation will be wiki-style.

Thomas

I found the table on http://jackrabbit.apache.org/faq.html#pm-available
quite helpful as a guide which persistence manager to choose.
