starting the management service(ACS4.10)

All,

I built ACS4.10, and started the cloudstack-management service.
It took about 10 minutes to start the service.
but I checked "management-server.log", there was about 5 minutes when nothing was being processed.

Is there a way to handle it?

Dear Ivan,

Initially I tried to build on ACS4.11 with KVM.
I could not find the manual, so I could not build it.

ex)
 1) In the case of ipv6 disable on CentOS7 with ACS4.11, the management service cannot start.
 2) Even if I can start the service, I cannot add the KVM hosts.

Because of it, I built ACS4.10.

Ryota Maruko

Hello, Ryota, ACS 4.10 is outdated. Use 4.11, also, 4.10 includes a lot of
very critical bugs. Cheers.

Dear Dag,

Thank you for your advice.
Starting the service is quicker than before.

Hello Ryota,

This is likely due to you running out of entropy when generating the public and private keys. Try the following next time:

Install rng-tools
rngd -r /dev/urandom

Then run your setup – this will mean key generation runs a lot quicker.
