Contribute: InstallApacheFlexBadge as Flash Builder project
Hi,
I would like to contribute a possible replacement for the current
InstallApacheFlex app install badge. Since the current badge source
code has raised some issues regarding binaries etc. I thought I might
reproduce it as a Flash Builder project. This is now ready to be
donated (I think...). I suggest the project is committed to SVN in
'utillities/InstallApacheFlexBadge'.
The thing is: since my project is not under version control, I cannot
submit it as a patch. If the community is interested, how do I
continue?

P.S. I would like everybody to know that as of this morning I broke my
personal record for days lived.

I went with option 1 as I'm not familiar with Git (I should probably
check it out ;-)).
I've created [1] and attached the .fxp file.
Have fun!

Erik,
I was thinking of doing something similar as well when I got time. Glad to
know that you have already worked on it.
Option 1:
Attach the whole project as a zip file or as a .fxp file to the JIRA ticket
[1]. I will play with the project on my machine and commit it into SVN.
You can contribute further changes as patches to that project in SVN.
Option 2:
You can create a public project on GitHub and post a link to that in the
JIRA ticket. I can pull it from GitHub, test it and commit it into SVN.
Before I was a committer, I took option 2 to create and share the installer
here: https://github.com/bigosmallm/MakeApacheFlexForFlashBuilder(deprecated
url)
Thanks,
Om
