Unaccounted copyleft libraries in THIRDPARTYLICENSEREADME.html

Hi;

Just running a check through the things registered in the old
documentation I found mention of this libraries/packages:

Neolight
libmspack
NSIS

I couldn't find them with opengrok so I think the document
is outdated. If someone else sees them, feel free to make
good use of your nearest axe :).

cheers,

Pedro.

I think this becomes obsolete with OpenOffice.org 3.0 release, was used
for downloading some public available, but non OpenSource Fonts,

NSIS was a prereqiste for doing packaging download sets for Windows, so
it is not included as source in the OpenOffice.org product, but is used
as a vehicle to install the product,

sablotron (was Re: Unaccounted copyleft libraries in THIRDPARTYLICENSEREADME.html)

FWIW,

I missed Sablotron from the list.

Apparently it's not used either.

I found a comment about Sablotron in
xmlhelp/util/main_transform.xsl (line 371)

It's not important but probably worth investigating
later on: the new xslt processor may not need that
workaround.

cheers,

Pedro.

Thanks for the link.. it's amusing. I think the author
was clueless concerning the license he chose.

GPL'd since 2007 but the code doesn't seem to have
changed since 2005.

I will be glad to remove the obsolete note from the
thirdpartylicense stuff but in any case I don't
consider this document official at all: it has many
obsolete references and there's no need to reproduce
entire licenses. Maybe we should just keep an
html version of the NOTICE file there.

cheers,

Pedro.

The link I mentionned : http://openoffice.org/projects/council/lists/
discuss/archive/2007-05/message/4

No idea what the current license is though.

NeoLight is a plugin, who was udner LGPL license. So we (mac os X
porters) asked NeoOffice people whether it was possible to integrate
it in OpenOffice.org.

In return we received Legal infringement from them (this is i n the
Community Council archives) for some dark reason. Since NeoOffice
modified NeoLight license (today GPL) to avoid us to integrate it in
OpenOfice.org.

You can simply remove the thank you to them, because there is no
NeoLight at all in OpenOffice.org :-)

Absolutely.
