davex performance patch
I've created a patch that significantly improves the performance, at
least for me, of the davex remoting stack. How does one go about
submitting a patch to the Jackrabbit team?

On trunk would be best.

One more question, as I prepare my patch . . . is it appropriate to
submit the patch to the release that I'm using, 2.2.5, or should I
check for the existence of the bug in the trunk and patch there?

The discussion will happen on the Jira Ticket (if there's any :)) or if
it's more "complicated" back on the mailinglist. But I'm not one of
those experts, so I can't influence that much (but I'm also interested
in your topic "davex performance")

The best thing is to create an account on the Apache Jira and add
everything it needs there.
