Webstart / Proxy / Axis Client - does Axis recognize the Webstart Proxy ?

Hello everyone,
 
if I deploy a Client based on Axis as Webstart Application - does
Webstart set the System Properties for the Proxy ?
Can Axis handle this or do I have to add a functionality in the client
so the User can set the Proxy himself ?
Currently I'm using a CVS capture of Axis from January the 6th.
