I've mentioned this on the email list before but neglected to create a ticket for it.

log:tail prints a large number of duplicate messages to the console. 4-6 is common. The duplicates are not in the actual log file, they're just displayed in the console window.

When I originally mentioned this, I believe it was said that this appeared to  be a Windows specific issue.
