[jira] [Created] (BIGTOP-2160) beeline crashes because of two versions of log4j in paths

Ben Greene created BIGTOP-2160:
----------------------------------

Summary: beeline crashes because of two versions of log4j in paths
                 Key: BIGTOP-2160
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-2160
             Project: Bigtop
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Ben Greene

When trying to run beeline i get a crash on starting beeline as it finds two different versions of log4j in the classpaths. One from Hive and one from Hadoop.
This is a known issue: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-8609

I have been able to fix this by adding : HADOOP_USER_CLASSPATH_FIRST=true into the hadoop-env.sh
