[jira] [Created] (KARAF-5265) Clarify documentation regarding @id of repository

David Leangen created KARAF-5265:
------------------------------------

             Summary: Clarify documentation regarding @id of repository
                 Key: KARAF-5265
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KARAF-5265
             Project: Karaf
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: karaf-feature
            Reporter: David Leangen
            Priority: Minor

In the configuration file org.ops4j.pax.url.mvn.cfg, the comment states:

{code}
# @id=repository.id : the id for the repository, just like in the
# settings.xml this is optional but recommended
{code}

Without having investigated the code, it appears that this ID is actually used for authentication (via the settings.xml file). If my assumption is correct, in that case, I feel that the comment could be improved a bit.

(Happy to submit a PR if you agree to this suggestion.)
