Next public release of Lucene.NET
We developed a search solution based on Lucene.NET. Due to several
reasons we need to rework the current implementation. One question that
arose is if we should move to a higher version of Lucene.NET, current
state is Oct 10, 2012 with version 3.0.3, cutting edge is 3.6.
Currently Apache Lucene Core is in version 4.4.
Is work on a new version of Lucene.NET in progress and if yes - is there
any release date?

There is some work being done now on porting the v4 of the Java codebase to
.NET, but for now the latest stable comforts to 3.0.3, and is accessible
from git (the SVN repo was abandoned).

Ok. Got the Lucene.NET project by SVN and it seems there has be no change since January 2013. Still uncertain about the versioning - just can tell that Lucene.NET is not worked on regularly.
