Debugging ApacheDS using eclipse

Hello,

Can anyone explain how to perform online debugging using eclipse IDE. I
observed that the ApacheDs 1.0 is running as
a windows service.

If you are installing ADS using the installer, yes.

Follow ths instruction given here :
http://directory.apache.org/apacheds/1.0/building.html

to build the server, and then simply import all the generated projects into
eclipse. The apacheds-server-main project contain the starting point :
UberJar.java class. Don't forget to pass server.xml as a parameter before
launching the server.
