HTML Entities in views in Futon on 0.11.0
Hi Guys,
We're having a problem with our javascript (and other values) being
encoded with html entities when editing with futon. This is causing
our views to break, because "&&" and ">" are being replaced by the
htmlentities equivalents. It's quite a pain to manually remove the
htmlentities every time I edit a view. This didn't start happening
untill 0.11.0.
Is there a setting or something that will prevent this from happening?

Thanks, that was exactly the issue. I applied the patch, and the
problem went away!

It sounds like you're having the problem described here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-611
This is fixed in 0.11.1 and 1.0, but you can manually apply the fix included in the report if you're on 0.11.0.

AJ,
I think its a problem with the editor itself... i just copy the text
out into some other editor to edit it and copy it back when i'm done.
you could look at couchapp, that let you edit your views as separate
files, in your favorite text editor, and push them into yourdatabase
for you when you're done
