[jira] [Updated] (CRUNCH-628) Upgrade to Kafka 0.10.0.1

Micah Whitacre updated CRUNCH-628:
----------------------------------
    Attachment: CRUNCH-628.patch

While we are talking about non-passive changes for Spark/HBase, thought maybe getting Kafka upgraded would save one more non-passive change to include. Specifically since Kafka functionality hasn't been released we should be able to make this change without too much concern.

> Upgrading crunch-kafka from 0.9.x to 0.10.x. This will require the Kafka cluster is going to be 0.10.x or higher but also that on the classpath are the 0.10.x binaries due to API non-passive changes.
