Hello Felix,

Regarding the patch proposal, IMO there are already too much properties in
JMeter.
Do you think we should add one for splash screen disabling, knowing that as
suggested root cause of issue is just somewhere else ?

No, I don't think, we need it. As Adrian wrote, the splash screen is not
the problem. We should strive to make the startup of JMeter that fast,
that you hardly notice the splash screen :)
