pdf xforms fail on large files

I am using a transform that runs for smaller datasets created by xsp. It
will run 80% of the reports without problem, but when I attempt to create a
pdf larger than some unknown factor, I receive the 'File does not begin with
%PDF-'. I get the error using IE and Netscape.

You should find something in the Cocoon logs, probably an
OutOfMemoryException. If this is the case, look at
  http://xml.apache.org/fop/faq.html#OutOfMemoryException
