upgrade from 2.0.6 to 2.1 stack

Hi folks,
I have been unsuccessful is upgrading from a 2.0.6 stack to a 2.1 stack.
Mainly with YARN, in that the apptimelineserver is missing after the upgrade.
Has anyone else seen this behavior or tried to do this upgrade?
The directions for upgrading from a 1.3.2 or later to 2.1 I think applies only to a non-MR2 stack. Where 2.0.6 is a MR2 stack.

Hi Erin,

You need to explicitly add ATS if you are upgrading from 2.0.6 to 2.1.
Please see Step 13 in
http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-1.6.1.0/bk_upgrading_Ambari/content/ch02s03.html

I hope this helps.

ATS is removed when the cluster is kerberized. In HDP 2.2, ATS will support
running in kerberized mode.
