[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-6156) UI is very slow(25-30 seconds) with many stopped processors on a canvas

Joseph Witt commented on NIFI-6156:
-----------------------------------

This problem is no longer reported by folks since 1.7.x or newer as far as I know and this includes for very very large flows... If you have a ton of stopped components they should be disabled to avoid the cost of validation. But even then validation is now async so the ipmact and user experience is far better. What version are you having this problem on ? If 1.8 as the ticket suggests please show more details. The screenshot appears truncated in some key areas.

> NIFI-2996 - I saw this old issue, but is there a resolution for this?
> by breaking the rest API by PGs in the background update the status lazily
> It kills the developer productivity -
> Is the faster disk an option?
> Thanks
