[jira] Created: (ISIS-55) Revive the Eclipse IDE plugins

Revive the Eclipse IDE plugins
------------------------------

                 Key: ISIS-55
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ISIS-55
             Project: Isis
          Issue Type: New Feature
            Reporter: Dan Haywood

At around the time of NOF 3.0 a good deal of work was done by Dan on developing some features and plugins for Eclipse. This work was subsequently mothballed (while he went to work on his book...)

Some of the codebase was donated in the NOF initial contribution, in contrib/initial/nof/incubator/ide/trunk/.

However, there is additional code available on SourceForge in the https://sourceforge.net/projects/nakedide project. This would make a better starting place because none of the code has been edited so it should in theory still build (it was built against Eclipse 3.3).

There's quite a lot of code and features here (see http://nakedide.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/nakedide/ide), so definitely worth salvaging.

All the code was developed by Dan Haywood, so could be uploaded under his ICLA.
