SVN gone ?
Am I total moron or have the Subversion repo gone fishing ?
I noticed that yesterday when I did a svn up.
I get a 404 on this url: http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/core/
which is refferred to from:
http://hadoop.apache.org/core/version_control.html
Cheers
/Marcus

It is closer to the truth to say that core-user was renamed common-
user. hdfs-user and mapreduce-user have been added.

The announcement did go out to general@hadoop, which handles cross sub-
project discussions and everyone should be subscribed to. But, yes, I
guess this is the official announcement. *smile*

Are you saying that the core-user list has been deprecated and replaced by
common-user, hdfs-user, and mapreduce-user? If so, the mailing lists page
needs to be updated and probably an announcement should be sent to
core-user.

If you are building trunk, you should be on the dev lists. *smile*
Check out each of the subprojects and use "ant tar" in each.

Hi Owen,
Is there a documentation for the new splits? like how to build the new trunks.
Thanks,
Iman

We renamed the subproject and split it apart. The new urls are:
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/common/trunk
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/hdfs/trunk
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/mapreduce/trunk
Note that the email lists are also split in to common-user, hdfs-user,
and mapreduce-user too.

We renamed the subproject and split it apart. The new urls are:
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/common/trunk
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/hdfs/trunk
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/mapreduce/trunk
Note that the email lists are also split in to common-user, hdfs-user,
and mapreduce-user too.
