[jira] [Created] (KARAF-2976) Karaf doesn't support encrypted
passwords in the Maven settings file
Jan Van den Bergh created KARAF-2976:
----------------------------------------
Summary: Karaf doesn't support encrypted passwords in the Maven settings file
Key: KARAF-2976
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KARAF-2976
Project: Karaf
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.0.1
Environment: Mac OS 10.9.2
Oracle JDK 1.7.0_21
Apache Maven 3.0.5
Reporter: Jan Van den Bergh
I use a Maven mirror to retrieve maven artifacts. The password in ~/.m2/settings.xml to access the mirror is encrypted (see http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-encryption.html). Karaf is unable to download bundles due to an access denied failure.
When I put my unencrypted password in the file, the download works fine.
